Supported Independent Living

Nurture continues to support many participants with their accommodation support needs. The most common service we provide is SIL accommodation. This consists of one or multiple participants in one home and a team that wraps around each client to promote independence and inclusivity. Our team will help you meet your needs by providing 1:1 support to improve your life skills and help you to achieve your goals. Our staff specialise in this accommodation so rest assured, you are in great hands.

Medium Term Accommodation

This type of accommodation support offers a participant somewhere to live if they cannot move into their long-term home because the disability supports aren’t ready. This provides time for the long-term home to be approved and completed, and for any disability supports to be implemented. Nurture removes the stress from the participant and provides security with our accommodation vacancies. We will also provide a support team around you to meet your needs and goals.

Short Term Accommodation/ Respite

Short Term Accommodation, including respite, is funding for support and accommodation for a short time away from your usual home. This can support participants and carers with taking a break from their normal support carers. A participant might also want to try new experiences with new carers in a new environment. This ultimately helps to reduce fatigue and supports to maintain, positive relationships between carers and participants. Nurture take enjoyment from building a well-tailored respite that participants will remember forever!
